Helm · Our mission
Re-architecting how the real economy gets paid.
When did we accept this?
Every year, trillions of dollars of approved invoices sit unpaid for 60, 90, 120 days. The supplier who did the work waits. The buyer holds the cash. In between, a bank prices the gap as if the invoice were a mystery.
Good companies fail not because they lost money, but because they were owed it.
The real economy does not have a credit problem. It has a data problem.
Everything needed to fund an approved invoice exists — the purchase order, the invoice, the receipt, the contract — in four systems that never talk to each other. No one can see the match, so no one will fund it.
Supply chain finance solved this for the five hundred largest buyers on earth, by hand. Everyone else was told to wait.
AI can read, match and underwrite every invoice. The invoice, not the balance sheet, becomes the unit of credit.
Helm exists to fund the gap.
AI-native supply chain finance for the real economy: software that sees every approved invoice, data that prices it, capital that funds it the moment it's approved.
Software first. Data second. Capital third.
Today a CFO's cash position is set by everyone else's payment terms. Helm puts CFOs back in control: when suppliers get paid, when the business pays, and what the gap costs — decided by them, not dictated to them.
We start in construction, where the gap is widest. We won't stop there. The end state is a world in which "net 90" sounds the way "dial-up" does today.
Join the mission
We built the US business of one of the world's largest non-bank supply chain finance providers and structured three-quarters of a billion dollars of payables financing. Now we're rebuilding it with AI at the core.
If the real economy deserves better plumbing, let's build it.
